Since 1997 Lazenby & Associates has been retained to perform due diligence, and standards and practice compliance audits for mergers and acquisitions, collateral or receivable backed ABS transactions and whole loan-lease transactions with valuations in excess of $400 billion. Our group has extensive experience in industry compliance of standards and practices.

Lazenby and Associates has experience with the following assets classes: automobile (prime, non-prime, sub-prime, lease), commercial finance (term and revolving, equipment lease, asset backed, structured finance, special assets), student loans (guaranteed and non-guaranteed), recreational vehicles, charged off credit card receivables, asset-based, collateral dependant, unsecured commercial and consumer loans.

Our teams are experienced in centralized and de-centralized operations, as well as underwriting and servicing platforms. We have undertaken due diligence assignments that included auditing in excess of 50,000 loan document files in a single matter. Our clients include investment banks, hedge funds, captive-finance arms of automobile manufacturers, banks, credit unions, finance companies, e-finance groups, insurance companies and law firms.

Keep in mind , risk and fraud are not always obvious. Quite frequently, deliberate deception and misrepresentation are used to victimize businesses. One method of exercising care and prudence is to acquire the information you need to make informed decisions. This may also help the corporation navigate the treacherous waters of today’s increasingly competitive marketplace by avoiding culpability or negligence. And down the road, these efforts may afford the corporation a degree of legal or regulatory protection.
